A method of making a sports boot having an upper (10) of flexible material, an outsole (24), and an insole (17) with the lower edges (18) of the upper (10) secured to the insole (17) and with the insole (17) and the edges (18) of the upper (10) being secured to the outsole (24), and said method comprising: folding the lower edges (18) of the upper (10) inwardly and stitching at least part of said edges (18b) to the facing edges (17a) of an insole (17), which are located inwardly of the edges (18b) of said upper (10) and substantially coplanar with the folded edges to form a midsole, and thereby to form a part-assembly of a boot; applying the boot part-assembly to a last; and securing the outsole (24) to the coplanar sub-assembly on the last to complete the formation of the boot.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une chaussure de sport présentant une tige (10) en matière souple, une semelle extérieure (24), ainsi qu'une semelle intérieure (17), les bords inférieurs (18) de la tige (10) étant fixés à la semelle intérieure (17), ladite semelle intérieure (17) et les bords (18) de la tige (10) étant fixés à la semelle extérieure (24). Ledit procédé consiste à plier les bords inférieurs (18) de la tige (10) vers l'intérieur et à piquer au moins une partie desdits bords (18b) sur les bords avant (17a) d'une semelle intérieure (17), lesquels sont situés intérieurement par rapport aux bords (18b) de ladite tige (10) et sont sensiblement coplanaires avec les bords pliés pour former une semelle intercalaire, et ainsi former un ensemble constitutif d'une chaussure, à appliquer l'ensemble constitutif de la chaussure sur une forme évasée; puis à fixer la semelle extérieure (24) aux sous-ensembles coplanaires sur la forme évasée afin d'achever la formation de la chaussure.
