A diverter for a pressurized fluid stream from a spray nozzle has a sleeve with a cavity for receiving the spray nozzle through one end, and a head at an opposed end for diverting the trajectory of the fluid stream from the spray nozzle. In use, the spray nozzle is held in the sleeve by the user without further retention means. When the spary nozzle is activated, a diverted fluid stream exits the diverter to spray difficult to reach areas of a vehicle or the like. The user may rotate the sleeve about spray nozzle during use. The user merely slides the sleeve from the spray nozzle after deactivating the fluid stream to permit further use of the spray nozzle.
