ABSTRACT A cutting drum for a mining machine has spray nozzles arranged individually in nozzle holders communicating with a connecting channel for spray liquid. A shut-off valve is associated with the nozzle holder and is open during normal operation of the cutting drum but moves automatically to the closed position after complete or partial removal of the spray nozzle.
