A shower or car-wash is provided with a heat-exchanger element of thin sheet metal mounted under or in the floor to pre-heat incoming cold water using heat re-covered from the spent sprayed water. The heat exchanger element (15) has a rec-tangle-wave shaped cross section thereby providing greater heat transfer area and being able to withstand heavy vertical loads. The vertical portions (13) of the rec-tangle wave may advantageously be provided with vertical reinforcing ribs in the form of depressions (6a, 6b) stamped in the metal.
L'invention concerne un système de douche ou de lavage de voiture qui comporte un élément échangeur thermique en métal feuille mince monté sous le sol ou dans le sol, permettant de préchauffer l'eau froide entrante par la chaleur récupérée depuis l'eau pulvérisée qui a été utilisée. L'élément en question (15) a une section trasnversale rectangulaire qui assure une surface de transfert supérieure et qui résiste à des charges verticales lourdes. Les parties verticales (13) de l'onde rectangulaire offrent l'avantage d'être renforcées éventuellement par des côtes de renforcement verticales créant une série de dépressions (6a, 6b) embouties dans le métal.
