Spraying apparatus (10) for spraying trees with pesticides or other chemicals, the apparatus (10) including a frame (11) which supports a tank (14) for containing liquid to be sprayed. Supported on the frame (11) is a tower assembly (21) which in- cludes a pair of planar faces (22) and (23) separated by vanes (24) which define air passages in the tower assembly (21) which communicate with the outlet of a blower (15). A number of Spray outlet nozzles (47) are arranged along the tower assembly (21) in the outlets of the air passages so that air passing through the passages forces the spray from the nozzles outwardly into trees to be sprayed,
