ABSTRACT A spring seat for a small chair has a first inner pair of front to rear flexible resilient strands accommodating the depending ischial tuberosities of a user, and reduces the load on them by supporting them at a lower level than an outer pair of front to rear flexible strands supporting the buttocks beneath the thigh bones so as to take on a significant portion of the load.
