ABSTRACT A squeegee blade comprises an elongated body of plastic material comprising longitudinally co-extruded substantially rigid stiffener and flexible web portions which extend laterally from a longitudinal interface which has a tongue-and-groove configuration in the cross-section of the body wherein the groove is formed in the flexible web and the tongue is formed in the stiffener such that the load applied to the portions of the interface located between the side faces of the tongue-and-groove as a result of flexing of the flexible web are predominantly sheer forces.
