The invention concerns the use, for increasing the durability of moulds made of silicon elastomer cross-linkable by polyaddition or polycondensation reaction, of additive capable of stabilising the silicon elastomer which constitutes the mould with respect to the materials to be moulded, of an additive selected among: (a) antioxidant additives containing in their structure additives containing at least one R-S¿q? -R' group in which R and R' are monovalent hydrocarbon groups with at least 3 carbon atoms or a monovalent hydrocarbon group with an ester bond or R and R' together form a cycle, q being a whole number between 1 and 3 inclusively; (b) additives inhibitors of free radicals capable, in moulding conditions, of generating radicals (I). The invention concerns the synergistic combination of (a) + (b), the synergistic combination of (a) and/or (b) with phosphites (c), except for the use of bis(1-octyloxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)sebacate as the only additive in a silicon elastomer mould cross-linked by polycondensation.

L'invention a trait à l'utilisation, pour augmenter la longévité des moules réalisés en élastomère silicone réticulant par réaction de polyaddition ou de polycondensation, d'additif capable de stabiliser l'élastomère silicone constituant le moule vis-à-vis des matières à mouler, d'un additif choisi parmi: (a) additifs antioxydant contenant dans leur structure additifs contenant dans leur structure au moins un groupe R-Sq -R' dans lequel R et R' sont des groupes hydrocarbonés monovalents ayant au moins 3 atomes de carbone ou un groupe hydrocarboné monovalent ayant une liaison ester ou R et R' forment ensemble un cycle, q étant un entier compris entre 1 et 3 inclus, (b) additifs inhibiteurs de radicaux libres capables, dans les conditions du moulage, de générer des radicaux (I), association synergique (a) + (b), association synergique (a) et/ou (b) avec des phosphites (c), à l'exception de l'utilisation du bis(1-octyloxy-2,2,6,6-tetraméthyl-4-pipéridyl)sébaçate comme seul additif dans un moule en élastomère silicone réticulé par réaction de polycondensation.
