A620 Abstract A stabilised isotonic liquid formulation comprising trimethoprim and polymyxin, as active ingredients, a vehicle therefor, a mercury containing preservative and, as an isotonic agent, a non-ionic polyhydroxy compound. In particular an isotonic ophthalmic formulation of trimethoprim and polymyxin in which sodium ethylmercurithiosalicylate is the preservative and propylene glycol the isotonic agent is disclosed.
