ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A storage stable or easily redispersible dispersion of melamine, urea or a blend thereof in a polyol, polymer polyol or a blend thereof is produced by the addition of an alkylbenzenesulfonate salt to the dispersion. Foams, polyurethane foams and other polyurethane materials made from the storage stable or easily redispersable dispersion of the present invention show improved combustion resistance properties.
