The invention relates to composition comprising A) a polymer, B) at least one organotin compound of the formula I, Ia, II or IIa R1iSnOj (I) or [R1SnO]m (Ia) Image (II) or Image (IIa) in which i is 1 or 2, j is (4-i)/2, m is > 1 and n is > 3, and R1 and R, independently of one another, are C1-C12alkyl, C) at least one dicarboxylic acid of the formula III HO-CO-R2-CO-OH (III) and/or the anhydride thereof, in which R2 is arylene which is unsubstituted or substituted by C1-C4alkyl or C1-C4alkoxy, straight-chain or branched alkylene or a group of the formula -CH=CR3, R3 is hydrogen or methyl, and D) at least one compound from the series consisting of crystalline alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal alumosilicates. These compositions have improved thermal and mechanical stability and are easy to process.
