Abstract of the Disclosure 1,1,1-Trichloroethane (viz., methylchloroform) is stabilized with from about 2 to about 4 percent by weight 1,3-dioxolane, from about 0.25 to about 0.5 percent by weight butylene oxide, from about 0.25 to about 2 percent by weight nitromethane, from about 0.2 to about 0.75 percent by weight 1-nitropropane, from about 0.75 to about 2 percent by weight secondary butanol, and from 0 to about 100 parts per million by weight acetaldehyde dimethylhydrazone.
