The invention relates to an stabilized aqueous solution of at least one unsaturated quaternary ammonium salt of the formula: (SEE FIG. I) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or methyl radical, R represents a methyl radical or benzyl radical, and X is one of Cl, Br, I or -CH3-SO4, the quaternary salts of the formula (I) having been obtained by reaction, in the presence of water, from N,N-dimethylaminoethyl (meth)acrylate of the formula (II): (See FIG. II) wherein R1 is as defined above, with a quaternizing agent of the formula (III): R-X (III) wherein R and X are as defined above. This aqueous solution contains at least one stabilizer associated with the monomer of the formula (II) and contains at least one sequestering agent for metals chosen from among diethylene-triamine-penta-acetic acid, the pentasodium salt of diethylene-triamine-penta-acetic acid, N-hydroxyethyl-ethylene diamine triacetic acid and the trisodium salt of N-hydroxyethyl-ethylene diamine triacetic acid. The aqueous solution has excellent stability to ambient temperature.
L'invention concerne une solution aqueuse stabilisée d'au moins un sel d'ammonium quaternaire insaturé, répondant à la formule: (VOIR FIG. I) dans laquelle: R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical méthyle, R représente un radical méthyle ou un radical benzyle, et X est choisi parmi Cl, Br, I ou -CH3-SO4, les sels quaternaires de formule (I) ayant été obtenus par réaction, en présence d'eau, du (méth)acrylate de N,N-diméthylaminoéthyle de formule (II): (VOIR FIG. II) dans laquelle R1 a la signification précitée, avec un agent quaternisant de formule (III): R-X (III) dans laquelle R et X ont les significations précitées. Cette solution aqueuse contient au moins un stabilisant associé au monomère de formule (II) et contient en outre au moins un agent séquestrant pour métaux choisi parmi l'acide diéthylène triamine penta acétique, le sel pentasodique de l'acide diéthylène triamine penta acétique, l'acide N-hydroxyéthyl-éthylène diamine triacétique et le sel trisodique de l'acide N-hydroxyéthyl-éthylène diamine triacétique. La solution aqueuse selon l'invention possède une excellente stabilité à la température ambiante.
