A stabilised high vacuum drying installation for industrial hides and similar products includes a plurality of drying beds (2, 2', 2'') with heating platforms (3, 3', 3'') and hermetic covers (4, 4', 4''), vacuum means (7) connected to the drying beds to extract vapours coming from the hides and to reduce the pressure to minimum working values (Pi), a circuit with valve means (10, 10', 10''; 11, 11', 11'') to selectively connect the drying beds to the vacuum means. The valve means include, downstream of every drying bed, at least one cutoff valve (10, 10', 10'') for selectively connecting such bed, initially at atmospheric pressure, to the vacuum means (7), and at least one check valve (11, 11', 11'') for isolating automatically the remaining beds already at working pressure so as to avoid pressure oscillations in their interior. The vacuum means (7) include a primary vacuum pump (8) suitable to reduce the pressure in the circuit to a predetermined value (Ps) superior to the working minimum value (Pi) and a secondary vacuum pump (9) suitable to co- operate with the primary vacuum pump (8) to reduce the pressure in the circuit to the minimum working value (Pi).
Installation de séchage à vide poussé stabilisé pour peaux industrielles et produits similaires, qui comprend une pluralité de lits de séchage (2, 2', 2'') comportant des plates-formes chauffantes (3, 3', 3'') et des couvercles hermétiques (4, 4', 4''); un système d'aspiration (7), relié aux lits de séchage de façon à extraire les vapeurs provenant des peaux et à réduire la pression jusqu'à des valeurs minimum de travail (Pi); et un circuit comportant un système de soupape (10, 10', 10''; 11, 11', 11''), qui relie sélectivement les lits de séchage au système d'aspiration. Le système de soupape comprend, en aval de chaque lit de séchage, au moins un robinet d'arrêt (10, 10', 10''), qui permet de relier sélectivement ledit lit, initialement à la pression atmosphérique, au système d'aspiration (7); et au moins un clapet de non-retour (11, 11', 11''), qui permet d'isoler automatiquement les lits restants qui sont déjà à la pression de travail, de façon à éviter les oscillations de pression à l'intérieur desdits lits. Le système d'aspiration (7) comprend une pompe à vide primaire (8), convenant pour diminuer la pression dans le circuit jusqu'à une valeur prédéterminée (Ps) supérieure à la valeur minimum de travail (Pi); et une pompe à vide secondaire (9), convenant pour coopérer avec la pompe primaire (8) de façon à réduire la pression dans le circuit jusqu'à la valeur minimum de travail (Pi).
