ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a stabilized aqueous hydrogen peroxide composition comprising an aqueous dispersion, which based on the total weight of the composition contains 0.1 - 4 percent by weight of hydrogen peroxide and 0.5 - 15 percent by weight of .beta.-crystals of one or more lipids selected among monoclycerides of fatty acids, ascorbic acid, phosphate or lactic acid esters of fatty acids and monoglycerole ethers, said fatty acids and ether chains, respectively being satura- ted and having 12 - 18 carbon atoms. The composition shows superior stability in spite of the presence of a much lesser proportion of .beta.-lipid crystals than according to the prior art. The composition is manufactured by firstly forming in an aqueous mixture the .beta.-crystals and then adding the hydro- gen peroxide, preferably in the form of an aqueous solution thereof. The invention also relates to the use of the composit- ion as a teat immersion composition for milk-producing ani- mals.
