STABILIZED INJECTABLE SOLUTIONS OF PIROXICAM Abstract Stable aqueous solutions of piroxicam suitable for pharmaceutical use are disclosed. These solutions all contain piroxicam in conjunction with a sub-stoichio- metric amount of D-(-)-N-methylglucamine and have propylene glycol, ethanol and water as the solvent, with the pH of said solutions being in the range of from about pH 8 to about pH 9. These particular pharmaceutical compositions possess excellent chemical stability properties and are especially suitable for parenteral administration.
