An alkyl and/or aryl silyl ether capped polyether surfactant useful in cleaning compositions. The polyether is described in conjunction with automatic dishwashing detergent composition having improved chlorine bleach stability comprising: (a) an active chlorine containing compound selected from the group consisting of chlorinated trisodium phosphate, chlorinated cyanuric acid and alkali metal salts thereof, 2,3-dichloro-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, hypochlorite bleach and mixtures thereof to yield available chlorine in an amount of from about 0.1 percent to 5 percent; (b) about 0.1 percent to 5 percent of a chlorine bleach stable nonionic surfactant having the general formula: Y[(AlO)n (A2O)m (A3O)p (X)q A4]z wherein Y is the residue of an organic compound having from 1 to 8, preferably 1 to 4, reactive hydrogens as measured by the Zerevitinov determination method; z is a number from 1 to 8, A1, A2 and A3 are C2 to C4 alkylene groups, tetramethylene, and mixtures thereof; n + m + p are numbers such that the total molecular weight of the uncapped portion of the molecule is from about 500 to 25,000 and the molecular weight of the hydrophile is 5 to 35 weight percent and the molecular weight of the hydrophobe is from 65 to 95 weight percent of the total weight of the molecule; X is a hydrocarbon residue containing 2 to 30 carbon atoms, preferably the residue (-CR1R2CR3R4CR5R6-) where R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are H, methyl, and mixtures thereof, q is a number from 0 to 1, A4 is an Si R'3 group wherein R' is a C1 to C30 alkyl, a C1 to C30 oxyalkyl, a C6 to C30 aryl group, and mixtures thereof; and (c) the balance water.
Surfactif de polyéther terminé par un alkyle et (ou) un éther-oxyde d'aryl-silyle, utile dans des compositions de nettoyage. Le polyéther est décrit dans le cadre d'une composition détergente pour laveuse, possédant une stabilité améliorée de blanchiment au chlore, et renfermant : a) un composé chloré actif, choisi dans le groupe comprenant le phosphate trisodique chloré, l'acide cyanurique chloré et leurs sels de métaux alcalins, la 2,3-dichloro-5,5-diméthylhydantoïne, un agent de blanchiment à l'hypochlorite et ses mélanges, permettant d'obtenir un rendement en chlore d'environ 0,1 % à 5 %; b) environ 0,1 % à 5 % d'un surfactif stable non ionique de blanchiment au chlore, possédant la formule générale Y[(AlO)n (A2O)m (A3O)p (X)q A4]z, où : Y est le résidu d'un composé organique renfermant de 1 à 8, et de préférence de 1 à 4 hydrogènes réactifs, selon la méthode d'analyse de Zerevitinov; z est un entier de 1 à 8; A1, A2 et A3 sont des groupes alkylène C2 à C4, tétraméthylène et leurs mélanges; n + m + p sont des nombres tels que la masse moléculaire totale de la portion non terminée de la molécule se situe à peu près entre 500 et 25 000, la masse moléculaire de la fraction hydrophile représentant 5 à 35 % et la masse moléculaire de la fraction hydrophobe 65 à 95 % de la masse totale de la molécule; X est un résidu de carbone renfermant de 2 à 30 atomes de carbone, de préférence le résidu (-CR1R2CR3R4CR5R6-) où R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 et R6 représentent H, le groupe méthyle, et des mélanges de ces derniers; q est un nombre de 0 à 1, A4 est un groupe Si R'3, où R' est un alkyle C1 à C30, un oxyalkyle C1 à C30, un aryle C6 à C30 et des mélanges de ceux-ci; c) l'eau de complément.
