A hard surface scouring cleaner composition comprises, by weight, (a) from 0.5 to 10 % of soft abrasive particles, (b) from 0.5 to 2.5 % of a chlorine- containing bleach, (c) from 0.2 to 3.0 % of a thickening system comprising from 0.2 to 3.0 %, based on the weight of the composition, of a cross-linked polyacrylate resin having a molecular weight in the range of 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 and from 0 to 2.5 % of a synthetic smectite clay, (d) from 0.25 to 3.0 % of a bleach-stable surfactant system comprising mainly anionic surfactants, (e) from 0 to 3.0 % of an electrolyte selected from the group comprising sodium or potassium carbonates or silicates, and (f) sufficient amount of sodium or potassium hydroxide to provide a pH in the range of 11.5 to 13.5. These compositions have an apparent viscosity as measured on a Brookfield RVTDV-II with a #6 spindle at 50 rpm of from 0.5 to 7 Kcps and at 1 rpm of from 10 to 150 Kcps. The abrasive particles are preferably organic particles such as polyethylene or polypropylene.
Composition de lavage de surfaces dures comprenant en poids (a) de 0,5 à 10 % de particules abrasives douces, (b) de 0,5 à 2,5 % d'un agent blanchissant chloré, (c) de 0,2 à 3,0 % d'un système épaississant comprenant de 0,2 à 3,0 % en poids de la composition d'une résine polyacrylate réticulée présentant une masse moléculaire de l'ordre de 1 000 000 à 10 000 000 et de 0 à 2,5 % d'une argile smectique synthétique, (d) de 0,25 à 3,0 % d'un système tensioactif stable au blanchiment constitué essentiellement de tensioactifs anioniques, (e) de 0 à 3,0 % d'un électrolyte choisi dans le groupe constitué de carbonates ou de silicates de potassium ou de sodium, et (f) d'une quantité suffisante d'hydroxyde de sodium ou de potassium, pour que le pH soit de l'ordre de 11,5 à 13,5. Ces compositions présentent une viscosité apparente, mesurée par Brookfield RVTDV-II avec un axe n?o¿ 6, comprise à 50 tours/min entre 0,5 et 7 Kcps et comprise à 1 tour/min entre 10 et 150 Kcps. Les particules abrasives sont de préférence des particules organiques telles que le polyéthylène ou le polypropylène.
