24 STABLE DETERGENT EMULSIONS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A stable detergent emulsion composed of: a) a free nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of alkylene oxide adducts of polyhydric compounds, alkyl aryl ethoxylates, alcohol ethoxylates and mixtures thereof; b) a polymeric emulsion stabilizer for the free nonionic surfactant, wherein the polymeric emulsion stabilizer is the reaction product of a reactant compound selected from the group consisting of unsaturated carboxylic acids.
