The invention relates to new hyperforin and adhyperforin salts, methods for producing same and their use. The cation of said salts is either an alkali metal ion or an ammonia ion of a salt-forming nitrogenous base, which salt- forming nitrogenous base is preferably a pharmaceutically active ingredient. The salts are used, among other things, for enriching or obtaining in the pure form hyperforin and adhyperforin from St. John's wort extracts and for the stable storage of hyperforin, adhyperforin and their mixtures. The pharmaceutical preparations containing said salts are used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The treatment of Alzheimer's disease is cited as second medical indication for medicines containing hyperforin, adhyperforin or their mixtures.
L'invention concerne de nouveaux sels de l'hyperforine et de l'adhyperforine, leur procédé de préparation et leur utilisation. Le cation de ces sels est soit un ion de métal alcalin, soit un ion ammonium d'une base azotée salifiable, cette dernière étant de préférence un principe actif médicamenteux. Les sels servent entre autres à l'enrichissement ou à l'isolation sous forme pure de l'hyperforine et de l'adhyperforine à partir d'extraits de millepertuis, ainsi qu'au stockage stable de l'hyperforine, de l'adhyperforine et de leurs mélanges. Des préparations pharmaceutiques contenant ces sels sont utilisées pour le traitement de la maladie d'Alzheimer. Pour les médicaments contenant de l'hyperforine, de l'adhyperforine ou leurs mélanges, le traitement de la maladie d'Alzheimer est cité comme deuxième indication médicale.
