ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A system for producing stable direct current voltages from the horizontal output transformer of a television receiver is provided. It includes an oscillator operating at the horizontal frequency to supply drive signals through a wave shaping circuit to a switching amplifier. The duty cycle of the switching amplifier is controlled by the wave shaping circuit which in turn is controlled by the voltage from a half- wave rectifier coupled with the output of the switching amplifier. The operation varies the duty cycle of the output signals from the switching amplifier in such a way as to stabilize the rectified direct current voltage.
