An aqueous liquid passivate composition for treating metal surfaces having dispersed therein solid particles which result in a transparent or translucent, preferably colorless, corrosion resistant coating, upon drying of the aqueous liquid passivate composition, the coating providing better resistance to heating by solar energy than the untreated metal surface at lower coating thicknesses than paint.

L'invention concerne une composition passivée liquide aqueuse pour traiter des surfaces métalliques ayant des particules solides dispersées à l'intérieur qui résultent en un revêtement résistant à la corrosion transparent ou translucide, et de préférence incolore, lors d'un séchage de la composition passivée liquide aqueuse, le revêtement fournissant une meilleure résistance à un chauffage par énergie solaire à une surface métallique non traitée à des épaisseurs de revêtement inférieures que la peinture.
