La présente invention se rapporte à une composition se présentant sous la forme d'une émulsion triple eau/huile/eau comportant une phase aqueuse externe, une phase huileuse constituant avec une phase aqueuse interne une émulsion primaire E/H, la phase aqueuse externe contenant en association un copolymère émulsionnant d'acide carboxylique à chaîne grasse et un poly-(acide acrylamidométhylpropanesulfonique) réticulé. L'émulsion reste stable, mème en présence d'un actif acide, et est particulièrement appropriée comme véhicule d'actifs sensibles à l'eau et/ou à l'oxygène, notamment dans une composition cosmétique ou dermatologique. L'actif peut être notamment une vitamine telle que l'acide ascorbique ou le rétinol, une enzyme et un alpha- ou bêta-hydroxyacide. L'émulsion obtenue peut constituer en particulier une composition pour nettoyer et/ou traiter et/ou protéger la peau et/ou les muqueuses et/ou les fibres kératiniques.
