A method of stabilizing an aqueous solution of polyaminoamide-epichlorohydrin resin comprising sequentially adding to the solution about 0.1 to about 10 weight percent of one or more strong acids and about 0.1 to about 10 weight percent of one or more weak acids to prepare a stabilized solution having a pH of about 3-4.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé servant à stabiliser une solution aqueuse de résine de polyaminoamide-épichlorohydrine et consistant à cet effet à ajouter séquentiellement à la solution environ 0,1 à environ 10 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs acides forts et environ 0,1 à environ 10 % en poids d'un ou de plusieurs acides faibles pour préparer une solution stabilisée ayant un pH d'environ 3 à 4.
