A stable wetting concentrate includes octyl or dodecyl pyrrolidone, an ethoxylated alcohol, and a compatabilizing agent for dilution of the concentrate with water, suitably a polar material, such as an anionic emulsifier, or polyol, which prevents separation of the two base components in water, and, optionally, water, provides a stable wetting composition upon dilution with water, which exhibit superior wetting and spreading properties.

L'invention concerne un concentré mouillant stable qui comporte octyle ou dodécyle pyrrolidone, un alcool éthoxylé, et un agent compatibilisant pour la dilution du concentré avec de l'eau, de préférence un matériau polaire, par exemple un émulsifiant anionique, ou un polyole, qui empêche la séparation des deux composants basiques dans l'eau et, éventuellement, produit une composition mouillante stable lors de la dilution dans l'eau, qui présente d'excellentes propriétés de mouillabilité et d'étalement.
