STACKABLE & REVERSIBLE PALLET ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rectangular shipping pallet for use in forming a shipping package is disclosed. A pair of like pallets and a packaging sleeve are used to form a shipping package, so that the pallets form the top and the bottom of the shipping package and the packaging sleeve forms the sides of said shipping package. The pallet comprises a base member having first and second opposed end edges and first and second opposed side edges which form corners therebetween, and a generally vertically disposed wall member located at the periphery of the base member. The vertically disposed wall member has a first free edge and a second edge, and forms a retention surface to retain an end portion of the packaging sleeve to substantially preclude horizontal movement of the packaging sleeve with respect to the base member. There is an inclined locating surface which intersects the second edge of the vertically disposed wall member, so that the end portion of the packaging sleeve is urged toward the vertically disposed wall member upon mating of the packaging sleeve and the locating surface. Several different configurations of feet are disclosed so that the pallet may be nested with like pallets or stacked against like pallets, in either of two orientations that are 180° apart.
