An open-top fold-and-glue container (105) is provided a collapsed configuration and can be erected into a nested stacking frusto-pyramidal configuration in which the container walls are inclined outwardly and an upper container is supported on self-erecting shoulders (82) in a lower container in the stack. The container (105) has a bottom (30), end walls (25) and side walls (15, 20). The end (25) and side (15, 20) walls are each formed of an inner panel (43, 67) folded downwardly against an outer panel (43, 65). The shoulders (82) are located in the inner panels (43) and are self-erecting in the manner of an expanding parallelogram between upper and lower glue strips (80, 86) and a support strip (84) projecting substantially vertically downwardly from the shoulder (82) to the bottom (30). The end (25) and side (15, 20) walls are attached to one another by a wing (69) or a bellows fold (110) at each corner which is captured between the inner (43) and outer (40) panels of the side wall (15, 20).
