A stackable stamp assembly used to form images on a surface includes a substantially congruent and releasably engageable base, intermediate members, and cover assembly. A stamp is attached to each of the intermediate members. The intermediate members are dish-shaped so that the stamp of an upper member is received within the member disposed immediately below when the members are stacked one on top of the other. The assembly may also includes ways to facilitate the alignment of the assembly with the surface on which an imprint of the stamp is to be made.
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif à estampes empilables utilisées pour former des images sur une surface; le dispositif en question comporte une base foncièrement congruente et amovible, des éléments intermédiaires, ainsi qu'un ensemble couvercle. Une estampe est fixée à chacun des éléments intermédiaires. Les éléments intermédiaires sont de forme parabolique, de sorte que l'étampe d'un élément supérieur se loge dans l'élément inférieur situé immédiatement en dessous lorsque les éléments sont empilés. Le dispositif en question peut également comporter un mécanisme destiné à assurer un alignement approprié des éléments par rapport à la surface destinée à recevoir l'empreinte.
