ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hand railing assembly that has pickets or posts that can snap lock into top and bottom rails. The top and bottom rails are the same aluminum extruded section and have apertures punched or cut in web portions to space out the posts and pickets. Detents with sloping portions are pushed back, flexing arm portions when the ends of the pickets or posts are pushed through apertures in the rail sections, the detents then spring back to lock in transverse slots in the ends of the pickets or posts.
