ABSTRACT A motor driven stair lift device is driven along the tubular track filled with transmission elements comprising incompressible spheres driven by a worm. Drive spheres affixed to a carrier and disposed in a portion of the track are driven with the transmission elements, causing movement of the carrier along the track.
