Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to a stand-up bag made of a heat- sealable or weldable plastic sheet material and adapted to contain liquid and/or pasty products. In order to devise a stand-up bag of this type in such a manner that it retains sufficient stability or standing ability after its contents have been partially dispensed, that it is capable of being readily handled and conveyed as well as of being produced in a simple manner and requires minimum storage space in its empty state, the invention provides that the stand-up bag is provided with a dispensing opening defined by a spout made of a plastic sheet material and connected to the top wall element of the bag.
