The present invention relates to a backup instrument fitted to the instrument panel of an aircraft to detect overload. The backup instrument comprises means for calculating and displaying flight information on the basis of data supplied by associated sensors (41, 42, 43, 45) incorporated into a backup system. It also comprises a module (403) that detects that the aircraft is overloaded on the basis of the data supplied to display the flight information. The invention applies in particular to the detection of overload during heavy landings. More generally, it applies to the detection and display of overloading of an aircraft in various types of environment.
La présente invention concerne un instrument de secours équipant le tableau de bord d'un aéronef détectant les surcharges. L'instrument de secours comporte des moyens pour calculer et afficher des informations de vol à partir de données fournies par des capteurs associés (41, 42, 43, 45) intégrés dans un système de secours. Il comporte par ailleurs un module (403) de détection de surcharge de l'aéronef à partir des données fournies pour afficher les informations de vol. L'invention s'applique notamment pour la détection de surcharges lors d'un atterrissage brutal. Plus généralement, elle s'applique pour la détection et l'indication de surcharges d'un aéronef dans divers types d'environnement.
