The invention makes use of a spring tensioned electrically non-conductive clamp with electrically conductive gripping teeth, electronic circuitry housed within the clamp body, electrically conductive wires protruding from the rearward end, and externally visible indicator light sources mounted within the clamp. The invention is used to monitor current flow through said tips, and within the rearward-connected wires, and to provide static bonding. When a current flow has been established between the said tips or rearward exiting wires, the electronic circuit will extinguish as indicator light source for each of the monitored current flows. When the conductive tips are electrically bonded to a conductive material, static bonding will exist between a centrally removed connection point via the exiting rear wires and the conductive material placed between the said teeth, when this condition occurs all indicating light sources will be extinguished and hence the electronic circuitry will be in a near-off state.
