STATIONARY FEED MIXER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A stationary feed mixing apparatus includes a hammer mill for grinding the main ingredients of a feed ration prior to delivery of the main ingredients by a transfer auger to a mixer. An electronic scale continuously weighs these ingredients as they are introduced to the apparatus. A plurality of hoppers containing micro ingre- dients discharges micro ingredients upon a vibrating weighing conveyor device which is suspended by an elec- ironic scale so that the amounts of micro ingredients are constantly weighed prior to the discharge of the micro ingredients into the transfer auger. The micro ingredients and main ingredients are premixed in the transfer auger prior to final mixing in the mixer. Display units con- stantly display the weights of the micro and main ingredients, thereby permitting accurate control of the amount of the respective ingredients in each batch of feed ration produced.
