The reciprocating and oscillating winding spindle (206) of a stator winding machine (200) is rotatable through 180~ to enable a stator winding and lead terminating method and apparatus for automatically winding a 2-pole stator (100) having two pole pieces each with a coil wire wound from the same, single strand of wire. A cross-over wire segment (124) between the two stator coils extends through the bore of the stator and is trapped against an inside wall of the stator by a cross-over wire retaining member (216). A stator coil lead terminating apparatus is capable of complex manipulations of stator coil lead wires at a winding station. Stator coil lead wires can be looped about wire guide posts on a stator core in the course of forming coil lead terminations and the posts can be protected against bending or breaking by looping pins (402) that partly receive the posts.
L'invention porte sur la broche (206) à mouvement alternatif et oscillant d'une bobineuse (200) de stators pouvant pivoter sur 180· pour permettre le bobinage des stators et les sorties de fils, et sur un procédé et un dispositif de bobinage de stators à deux pôles (100) dont les deux pièces polaires sont bobinées à l'aide d'une seule et même longueur de fil. Un segment de fil (124) reliant les bobines des deux stators et passant par l'alésage du stator est coincé contre une de ses parois intérieures par un élément (216) à cet effet. L'appareil de sortie des fils des stators peut effectuer des manipulations complexes sur le lieu du bobinage. Les fils du stator peuvent être enroulés autour de tiges de guidage solidaires du corps de stator pour former les sorties de fils, lesdites tiges pouvant être protégées contre le pliage ou la rupture par des aiguilles (402) recevant en partie les tiges.
