In using a high pressure steam as a cooling medium for a gas turbine combustor, supply ports for a cooling steam are provided on inlet and outlet sides of a combustion chamber of the gas turbine combustor, a discharge port for the cooling steam is provided substantially centrally of the combustion chamber between the inlet and outlet sides, and steam flow passages are formed in combustion chamber wall surfaces between the supply ports and discharge port of the cooling steam so that a cooling steam supplied into the wall surfaces from the supply ports on the inlet and outlet sides is discharged outside through the discharge port provided substantially centrally of the combustion chamber. Accordingly, the combustor wall surfaces exposed to a high temperature combustion gas can be effectively cooled using a steam which has a large thermal capacity and a high pressure.
Pour acheminer de la vapeur haute pression servant au refroidissement de la chambre de combustion d'une turbine à gaz, il est prévu des orifices d'admission de vapeur aux extrémités admission et sortie de ladite chambre de combustion, un orifice de rejet de la vapeur sensiblement centré entre lesdites extrémités admission et sortie de la chambre de combustion et des canaux de circulation de la vapeur ménagés dans les parois de celle-ci entre lesdits orifices d'admission et de rejet de la vapeur. Ainsi, la vapeur admise par les deux extrémités de la chambre de combustion circule dans les parois de celle-ci et en ressort sensiblement en un point central entre lesdites extrémités. Cette disposition constructive permet de refroidir efficacement les parois de la chambre de combustion exposées aux gaz de combustion extrêmement chauds, au moyen de vapeur haute pression à très grande capacité d'absorption de chaleur.
