ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a frame for making floors or roofs of steel framed buildings, each part of the frame being of light weight, the frame comprising side beams and at least one pair of intermediate beams located between the side beams and parallel thereto, said beams being all made of steel sheet having a thickness of from 1.5mm to 5 mm and cold rolled into a section having at least three limbs including at least one vertical limb, the vertical limbs of the intermediate beams being parallel to each other and spaced apart 50 to 150 mm and secured together between their ends, all the beams being secured together at their ends by cross-members.
