The current invention contemplates recycling steel making materials back into the process. The various embodiments of the current invention include methods of preparing and manufacturing steel processing materials comprising at least partially recycled steel making materials. In one embodiment, the steel processing material comprises a dried post combustion material(PCM), the recycled steel making material, and a slag foaming material. In various embodiments of the current invention, the recycled steel making material may have moisture content removed and/or may be mixed with other processing materials.
