The erection of metallic frame dry walls requires, in a first phase, the setting of studs between floor plates and top plates. When such walls exceed 244 cm high, contractors usually call upon two workers to assemble, using scaffolds and common tools, the metallic frame. The invention is a tool that allows an employee working alone, without the use of a scaffold, to erect metallic frames between 244 and 488 centimeters high. Using this tool, a stud can be aligned and fixed permanently between the plates, at the desired location, by two crimping heads at both ends. The tool makes the procedure faster, more accurate and requires less handling than the traditional method.
