An iron wheel type linear motor, wherein a protective cover (11) with insulation fitted to stator coils (9) is disposed on the ground side of the stator coils (9) projected from stator cores (7). Air holes (11a) are formed in the protective cover (11) so as to face a clearance formed between the tip parts of the stator coils (9) projected from the stator cores (7). Inserts (10) are projected from the stator cores (7), the stator core (7) side of the protective cover (11) is pressed and supported by the inserts (10) on the stator coils (9). The portion of the protective cover (11) on the opposite side of the stator cores (7) is fixed to the stator coils (9) with tightening members (12) with insulation in which the air holes (11a) are passed, and the stator coils (9) and the protective cover (11) are formed integrally with each other with an insulation varnish.
L~invention a pour objet un moteur linéaire de type moteur de roue en fer où une couche de protection (11) à isolation adaptée aux bobines de stator (9) est placée du côté masse des bobines de stator (9) saillant des noyaux du stator (7). Des trous d~aération (11a) sont pratiqués dans la couche de protection (11) de manière à faire face à un espace formé entre les extrémités des bobines de stator (9) saillant des noyaux du stator (7). Des pièces insérées (10) faisant saillie depuis les noyaux du stator (7) pressent et portent le côté noyau (7) de la couche de protection (11) sur les bobines de stator (9). La partie de la couche de protection (11) du côté opposé aux noyaux de stator (7) est fixée aux bobines de stator (9) par des éléments de serrage (12) à isolation dans lesquels passent les trous d~aération (11a), tandis que les bobines de stator (9) et la couche de protection (11) sont formées intégralement d~une seule pièce avec un vernis isolant.
