Abstract of the Disclosure A steering mechanism having a steering drop arm, a steering drag link, and a steering track rod, for a vehicle adapted to travel, on wheels, on the highway and across country, the steering being selectively mechanical with hydraulic assistance or all-hydraulic with hydraulic cylinders and electro- magnetic valves, the change-over from hydraulically-assisted to all-hydraulic operation being effected by selectively connecting a cardan shaft, actuated by the steering wheel, to one or the other of the two systems used in steering the vehicle.
