The invention relates to a carcass-free steering wheel for motor vehicles. According to the invention said steering wheel consists of a cup-shaped lower part (1) and an upper part (2) connected to same along its edges. Both parts (1, 2) have an outer shell (3, 4) of a high-performance plastic material, which at least in the case of the lower part (1) is reinforced by single-piece fingers (5, 6, 7) pointing inwards.
