ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: In order to have a sufficiently large elongation at fracture in conjunction with high strength values, a pressure-diecast steering wheel skeleton con- sists of an aluminum alloy which is composed of 2.5 to 3.5 % by weight magnesium 0.10 to 0.30 % by weight silicon 0.40 to 0.60 % by weight iron 0.25 to 0.45 % by weight manganese 0.015 to 0.05 % by weight copper 0.035 to 0.085 % bD weight zinc balance aluminum.
