ABSTRACT A solar collector is disclosed which is characterized by the pro- vision of a novel fluid spraying feature enclosed in and rotating a hollow, stel- late shaped drum on an axis. The fluid to be heated is sprayed from tubing at the axis of the drum and absorbs the collected heat from the interior surface of the drum by heat transfer. Fluid is accumalated at and near the arc of the drum in the stellates causing unequal distrubation of weight along the circum- ference and radii of the drum slightly above and below the spraying
