A stencil in sheet or roll form that is adapted for stenciling large surfaces such as walls or ceilings, particularly when those surfaces are of a delicate nature. The stencil is a laminar structure including an outer layer of a absorbent flexible material such as paper permanently adhered to a flexible barrier layer. On the side of the barrier layer opposite the outer layer is a pressure sensitive adhesive layer that is fixed to the barrier layer, yet temporarily and releasably adheres the stencil to the surface to be decorated. The pressure sensitive adhesive may be covered with a release liner that is easily removed to expose the adhesive for application of the stencil sheet to the surface, and that prior to being removed, permits the stencil sheets to be formed conveniently into a roll or stacked without adhering to itself or one another.

L'invention concerne un pochoir sous forme de feuille ou de rouleau, conçu pour marquer au pochoir de grandes surfaces de type murs ou plafonds, en particulier lorsque la nature de ces surfaces est délicate. Ce pochoir présente une structure laminaire comprenant une couche extérieure de matériau flexible absorbant de type papier, en adhérence permanente avec une couche barrière flexible. Sur le côté de la couche barrière face à la couche extérieure, se trouve une couche autoadhésive fixée à la couche barrière, faisant adhérer de manière provisoire et décollable le pochoir à la surface à décorer. L'autoadhésif peut être recouvert par une couche de décollement qui peut facilement être retirée afin d'exposer l'adhésif en vue d'une application de la feuille de pochoir sur ladite surface à décorer, et qui avant d'être retirée, permet de rouler ou d'empiler les pochoirs de manière pratique en les empêchant d'adhérer à leur propre surface, ou d'adhérer les uns aux autres.
