A stent (42) for use in a stent graft comprising a strut region comprising at least two struts (46,48), the struts having at least one radius of curvature; a bend connecting the at least two struts and forming an eyelet region (54), where the strut region and the eyelet region are electropolished and the eyelet region is locally polished; and an eyelet (54) positioned in the eyelet region, having at least one radius of curvature greater than zero is provided. A method of manufacturing the same also is disclosed.

La présente invention concerne un stent (42) destiné à être utilisé dans une greffe de stent, qui comprend les éléments suivants : une région d'entretoise avec au moins deux entretoises (46,48), lesdites entretoises présentant au moins un rayon de courbure ; un coude raccordant les deux entretoises ou davantage et formant une région d'illet (54), la région d'entretoise et la région d'illet étant polies électrolytiquement et la région d'illet étant polie localement ; et un illet (54) positionné dans la région d'illet, qui présente au moins un rayon de courbure supérieur à zéro. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication dudit stent.
