A self-expanding stent delivery assembly includes an elongate member (110) with a proximal region (112) and a distal region (114). The distal region has an outer tubular member (115). A self-expanding stent (120) is disposed within the outer tubular member. Circumferential movement of at least a portion of the proximal region causes relative axial movement between the self-expanding stent and the outer tubular member, deploying the stent. Methods of deploying a self-expanding stent are also described.
