- 6 - ABSTRACT "Step Sequence Control Apparatus" A step sequence control apparatus has LEDs 12 equal in number to the greater of its input and output channels. A switch 16 selects input, output and fault modes. The input mode causes those LEDs 12 corresponding to input channels where an input signal is present to be illuminated. The output mode causes those LEDs 12 corresponding to output channels where an output signal is present to be illuminated. The fault mode causes illumination of LEDs corresponding to input channels where an input is required by the current program step but no such input is present.
