A system for driving a stepper motor and adapting characteristic parameters of the stepper motor comprising a driver sub-system, responsive to control signals, for transferring power to the stepper motor. A power supply provides a driver current to the driver sub-system. A current detection device, responsive to the driver current, generates a digital feedback signal representative of the driver current. A digital processor, responsive to the digital feedback signal, generates the control signals. The digital processor is further responsive to a software algorithm to generate the control signals. These control signals provide functionality comprising detecting forces applied by the stepper motor to a load preventing a stall condition, adapting stepper motor speed and torque parameters, and limiting applied forces and driver current.
L'invention concerne un système d'entraînement d'un moteur à pas et d'adaptation des paramètres caractéristiques du moteur à pas comprenant un sous-système d'entraînement, répondant à des signaux de commande, permettant de transférer la puissance au moteur à pas. Une alimentation apporte un courant d'entraînement au sous-système d'entraînement. Un dispositif de détection de courant, répondant au courant d'entraînement, génère un signal de rétroaction numérique représentatif du courant d'entraînement. Un processeur numérique, répondant au signal de rétroaction numérique, génère des signaux de commande. Le processeur numérique répond, en outre, à un algorithme logiciel en vue de générer des signaux de commande. Ces signaux de commande offrent une fonctionnalité comprenant des forces de détection appliquées par le moteur à pas à une charge permettant d'empêcher une condition de blocage, d'adapter la vitesse du moteur à pas et des paramètres de couple, et de limiter les forces et le courant d'entraînement appliqués.
