This invention relates to a gamma radiation cell for sterilizing industrial products, of the type constitu- ted by a shielded box provided with at least one tight access door, comprising an overhead conveyor (6) for displacing boats (7-7) supporting the products to be treated. The flooring (3) comprises a central well (26) allowing storage of a source of irradiation ( 27 ) which may be manoeuvred vertically. Pipes (39 and 40) connect this well (26) to an oxygen reserve and to a reservoir for storing the ozone produced by radiolysis, this ozone being able to be admitted into the vessel (7) of the boats (7).
